Execute and monitor engineering, procurement, and construction project cost control activities, ensuring accurate planning, tracking, and projection of project budgets. Generate and analyze financial and cost data to identify deviations, trends, and risks impacting the budget, providing timely information for decision-making. Update and track assigned project budgets and baseline costs, monitoring performance against budgeted, committed, actual, and projected figures. Analyze cost deviations to determine causes, impacts, and trends while preparing periodic control reports and cost forecasts. Track commitments, purchase orders, contracts, and subcontract costs; review and validate cost data from various project areas. Participate in cost structure breakdown (CBS) integration with work breakdown structures (WBS), analyze economic impacts of changes and risks, and monitor contingencies and reserves. Provide cost analysis to support team decisions, coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction areas, and mentor junior cost engineers. Maintain updated cost documentation and support internal audits and project closures.
