Job Summary
Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and quality assurance protocols to ensure product compliance with specifications and industry standards. Identify, document, and analyze defects, providing detailed reports with root cause analysis and recommendations for resolution. Monitor manufacturing processes, coordinate client audits, and implement containment actions for customer complaints. Manage the PPAP package for client approval and actively participate in developing PFMEA and Control Plans. Ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements while contributing to process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related quality management roles for customers
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, best practices, and industry standards (ISO, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks)
- Proficiency in test planning, test execution, and defect tracking and reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Experience with quality management systems and documentation practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management tools
- Knowledge on PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan
- Knowledge on automotive customer portal
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Project management or process improvement experience
