Develop 3D models of hulls and casings for stability verification in intact and flooded conditions, and organize stability tests with report generation. Produce 2D and 3D structural drawings, on-board surveys, and preliminary vessel weight calculations including resin weighing. Collaborate with the procurement office on contractual technical specifications and support construction and site acceptance testing. Interface with design teams to develop innovative technical solutions with naval architects and project managers, while researching new materials for weight reduction. Ensure all deliverables comply with international naval and flag regulations such as RINA, ABS, DNV, IMO, SOLAS, Reg.A, and CYC. Requires a naval engineering degree, prior experience in the role, and advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting software.
