Job Summary
Infusion Therapy Oncology Nurse at Siteman Cancer Center West County provides direct patient care in an outpatient infusion setting, administering infusion therapies and port care for oncology patients. Requires RN licensure with strong IV/port access skills; responsibilities include patient education, care planning, and collaboration with the interprofessional team, while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Role involves developing and implementing individual care plans, and coordinating care across the continuum. The position is safety-sensitive, with shifts typically starting early morning, and includes floating to other Siteman sites as needed; no weekends, holidays, or on-call required.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (current)
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- 2+ years RN experience preferred
- Oncology nursing experience preferred
- Infusion therapy experience preferred
- Strong IV insertion and port access skills
- Excellent communication and critical thinking
- Ability to float to other Siteman Sites as needed
