Infusion RN Registered Nurse - AHN Cancer Institute - Bethel - Casual/Float

Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients across the outpatient to inpatient continuum while evaluating health status and documenting changes in condition. Assign or delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff based on patient needs and skill levels, and manage charge duties including assigning lunches. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care, promote patient safety initiatives, and participate in department-specific quality and evidence-based practice projects. Provide verbal and written feedback to peers, mentor staff through role modeling, and maintain a safe environment by considering patient condition and intervention complexity. Accept assignments in areas outside the primary unit within individualized competency and utilize effective time management to complete duties within established shifts.
