Job Summary
Initiate, develop, and implement intermediate nursing plans of care for patients in homes or alternate infusion suites. Perform direct patient care, administer medications, and educate patients and families on prescribed therapy. Assess patient needs through health data access and interviews, modifying treatment plans based on changing status or physician orders. Provide training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I's, ensuring safety and compliance while communicating effectively with the clinical team and medical providers. Prepare clinical documentation in real-time for billing optimization and coordinate discharge planning with thorough reporting of care progress. Respond promptly to patient requests and initiate emergency procedures as necessary, adhering to all agency policies, regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Required licensure to operate a motor vehicle in the state of practice
- Access to a vehicle for business travel
- Proof of liability insurance
- Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications
- Ability to self-evaluate for annual appraisal
- Ability to jointly set professional growth goals with nurse manager
- Ability to apply knowledge in the effective use of nursing technology tools
- Ability to see up close and from a distance

Desired Qualifications
