Job Summary
Infusion RN to join Pacific Cancer Care’s new Los Gatos Medical Oncology clinic, delivering safe, evidence-based chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive treatments. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, infusion therapy, peripheral IV and central venous access management (ports, PICCs, CVCs), hazardous drug handling with PPE, patient and caregiver education, care coordination, and meticulous documentation in the EMR. Collaboration with physicians, APPs, and the interdisciplinary team is essential. Requires California RN license and current BLS; ONS Chemotherapy/ Biotherapy Provider Card preferred (within 1 year); BSN preferred. Oncology-focused, detail-oriented clinicians with strong assessment, IV insertion, and central line management skills are ideal; prior oncology experience and excellent communication are valued. This is a full-time role located in Los Gatos, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification; ALS preferred
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card preferred (required within 1 year of employment)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred
