Job Summary
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care agents while verifying doses and ensuring medication safety. Conduct patient assessments, review labs and vital signs, and provide triage care for emergent and non-urgent calls. Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, side effects, and treatment plans while maintaining thorough EMR documentation. Manage biohazardous waste disposal per OSHA and NIOSH guidelines, assist with medical supply inventory, and train new employees on job duties. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional overtime and weekend shifts as needed. Travel to other clinic locations up to 25% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered RN License in state of employment or multi-state license
- Current CPR and BLS certifications
- Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed
- Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting
- Ability to assess patient needs and condition
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Fluency in the English language
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment
- Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness

- Must be able to work at any Company location to help meet the Company's business needs on an as-needed basis, within reasonable expectations
- Will also be expected to work overtime when given sufficient notice
- Must respond accordingly in an appropriate time frame (telephone triage)
