Job Summary
Welcome patients to private infusion rooms and escort them to treatment areas. Educate patients on their therapies while addressing concerns regarding adverse reactions. Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines, while monitoring and documenting patient conditions. Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure infusion rooms remain clean and stocked. Answer phone calls as needed while adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Manage emergency situations calmly to maintain the flow of patient care. This ongoing, as-needed role offers competitive hourly pay between $54 and $58 for registered nurses with recent high-acuity experience and infusion skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction
- Recent IV experience
