Job Summary
Administer infusion treatments, calculate and mix prescription medications, and perform skillful IV insertions while monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures. Provide direct patient care in accordance with state regulations and company policies, including admission assessments, daily run/flow sheet reviews, and communicating with providers via Telehealth. Document patient assessments and ensure complete electronic charting while assisting with inventory management and overseeing unlicensed direct patient care teams. Enforce HIPAA compliance and support CQI improvement activities within a medical office setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state professional nurse licensure
- Graduate of accredited Nursing Associates/Bachelor's degree
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum of 1yr IV experience
- Must have demonstrated record of and commitment to safety and excellence
- Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to complete accurate dose calculations and mix medications independently on a regular daily basis
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- ONCC Preferred
- Infusion experience
- Certification in specialty/CRNI (Certified RN Infusion)
- ICU/ED experience
