Job Summary
Infusion Registered Nurse at a Rockford, IL clinic, full-time, 32 hours per week (Mon-Thu). Responsibilities include placing peripheral lines (PICC/PICC- and peripheral catheters as applicable), educating infusion patients on self-administration of medications, reviewing and charting laboratory results, Eprescribing per doctor’s orders, communicating with pharmacies and patients, EMR documentation for meaningful use, coordinating appointments and telephone follow-ups, participating in quality assurance and educational activities, and ensuring patient care standards per nursing practice and JCAHO/state/local laws. The role supports a large practice with a casual environment and benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision/Life insurance, PTO, and a referral program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current IL RN license
- At least two years RN office practice experience
- Infusion experience
- Chemo experience is preferred but not required
- Proof of current vaccinations including measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis A & B, influenza, and COVID-19
