Job Summary
Infusion Registered Nurse needed to supervise and administer infusion therapy at the Austin clinic. Responsibilities include placing peripheral lines (PICC/PIV as applicable), teaching patients how to self-administer medications, reviewing and charting daily lab results, communicating with physicians and pharmacies, EMR documentation for meaningful use, handling calls and scheduling, participating in quality assurance and educational activities, applying clinical judgment to patient care priorities, and ensuring safety of the environment and equipment while adhering to nursing standards, JCAHO/state/local laws, and MIDC policies. Experience in infusion and chemotherapy is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current TX RN license
- At least two years RN office practice experience, preferably in an infusion-related practice
- Infusion experience
- Chemo experience is preferred but not required
- Proof of current vaccinations (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis A & B, influenza, COVID-19)
