Job Summary
Welcome patients to private infusion rooms and escort them to treatment areas. Educate patients on their therapies and address concerns regarding adverse reactions. Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines, while monitoring and documenting patient conditions. Ensure accurate EMR documentation and maintain clean, stocked infusion rooms. Manage emergency situations calmly and answer phone calls in compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Work part-time, three days a week from 9am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings
- Valid RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction
- Recent IV experience
