Job Summary
Welcome patients to private infusion rooms and escort them to treatment areas. Educate patients regarding their therapies and address concerns about adverse reactions. Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines. Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses while ensuring accurate Electronic Medical Records documentation. Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergency situations calmly. Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked. Answer phone calls as needed while adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. This ongoing, as-needed per diem role offers competitive hourly pay between $54-$58 for registered nurses with recent high-acuity experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction
- Recent IV experience
