Job Summary

Assess, plan, and educate patients receiving home infusion therapy while evaluating home environments for safety. Initiate and maintain communications with the care team, including pharmacists and prescribers, to develop and monitor plans of care. Document all encounters and submit required clinical documents per policy. Manage schedules via the company platform and participate in the on-call rotation for continuous support. Drive up to 45 miles to see patients in the Newburyport, MA area. Requires a current MA RN license, minimum three years of infusion experience, and ability to work variable hours Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm- variable schedule to include early mornings, afternoons, evenings as needed- Per Diem 20 hours per week
  • Ability to drive your own properly registered/insured vehicle up to 45 miles one direction to see patients as needed
  • Knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications
  • Must have an RN license in good standing in the state of MA
  • Must live within 20 minutes of the Newburyport, MA area
  • Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
  • RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN)
  • Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy - Must have home infusion nursing experience
  • Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
  • Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution to issues to minimize impact on operations
  • Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency

Desired Qualifications

  • RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
  • Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
  • helpful to have knowledge using CPR+, AlayaCare, Insight, Concur, and Paylocity
