Infusion Nurse

Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for infusion therapy in home or alternate site settings, including assessments, care planning, and education for patients and care partners. Evaluate home environments for safety and coordinate all communications with pharmacists, prescribers, and community resources. Develop plans of care, document encounters, and submit required clinical documents per policy. Manage schedules via company platforms and participate in a nurse on-call rotation to ensure continuous support. Drive up to 75 miles one direction using your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided. Requires a single state RN license in good standing for Ohio and minimum 3 years of nursing experience with infusion therapy background.
Required Qualifications
- Must live within 25 minutes of the Alliance, OH area
- Must have a single state RN license in good standing for the state of Ohio
- Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
- Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
- Must be able to work in patient homes around animals/cigarette smoke
- Must be knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications
- Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations
- Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency
- Participation in an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included, providing as-needed support outside of regular business hours to address urgent issues and ensure continuous operations
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
- Preferred experience using CPR+, Insight, AlayaCare, Concur
