Infusion Nurse

Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for infusion therapy in home or alternate site settings, including assessments, care planning, and education for patients and care partners. Evaluate home environments for safety, manage schedules via company platforms, and coordinate all communications with the care team. Document encounters and submit plans of treatment per policy, while participating in on-call rotations to ensure continuous support. Drive up to two hours one direction to reach patients, with mileage reimbursement included. Requires current Alabama RN license, BSN preferred, and minimum three years of infusion therapy experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing- Alabama
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Must be able to drive up to 2 hours one direction to see patients in their homes
- Must be licensed as an RN in the state of Alabama in good standing
- Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
- Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations
- Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy preferred
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
