Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for assigned infusion therapy, including assessments, care planning, education, and home environment evaluations. Initiate and maintain communications with the care team, coordinate patient care via approved platforms, and document all encounters and activities per policy. Develop plans of care with team members, ensure timely submission of treatment plans, and manage schedules through company systems. Participate in an on-call rotation covering nights, weekends, and holidays to support continuous operations. Requires current RN license, valid driver's license, and ability to drive up to two hours for patient visits.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
- Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
- Must be able to drive up to 1 hour to see patients with the flexibility to cover distances of up to 2 hours on an as-needed basis
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included
- Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies
- Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience
- Must be knowledgeable of IV access devices to include: IV lines, ports, and administration of Infusion medications
Desired Qualifications
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
