Job Summary
Conduct primary patient care for assigned infusion therapy patients in home or alternate site settings, including assessments, care planning, and education on medication administration. Evaluate home environments for safety, manage schedules via company platforms, and coordinate patient care while participating in on-call rotations for continuous support. Document all encounters, communicate with the care team, and ensure timely submission of treatment plans and required clinical documents. Maintain knowledge of IV access devices and infusion protocols. Requires current RN license, valid driver's license, and ability to drive up to two hours for patient visits.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
- Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
- Must be able to drive up to 1 hour to see patients with the flexibility to cover distances of up to 2 hours on an as-needed basis
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
- Participation in an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included, providing as-needed support outside of regular business hours to address urgent issues and ensure continuous operations
- Emergency Availability: Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations. Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy preferred
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
Desired Qualifications
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
