Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for assigned infusion therapy patients in home or alternate site settings, including assessments, care planning, and education. Evaluate the home environment for safety, coordinate patient care via company platforms, and document all encounters and communications. Manage schedules through approved systems and participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous support. Submit plans of treatment and required clinical documents per policy and state guidelines. Maintain knowledge of IV access devices, infusion medications, and clinical standards. Drive up to two hours as needed to see patients, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
- Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
- Must be able to drive up to 1 hour to see patients with the flexibility to cover distances of up to 2 hours on an as-needed basis
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included
- Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies
- Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience
- Must be knowledgeable of IV access devices to include: IV lines, ports, and administration of Infusion medications
Desired Qualifications
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
