Job Summary
Provide direct care for assigned infusion patients, including assessments, care planning, evaluation, and education for home or alternate site therapy. Evaluate the home environment for safety and coordinate patient care via approved platforms while managing schedules and participating in on-call rotations. Document all encounters and ensure timely submission of plans of treatment and required clinical documents. Maintain knowledge of IV access devices, therapies, and protocols to support continuous nursing services. Requires Texas RN license, 30-32 hours weekly with one Saturday monthly, and ability to drive up to 100 miles round trip.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
- Must be able to drive up to 100 miles round trip as needed
- Must be licensed as an RN in the state of Texas
- Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
- Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations
- Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency
Desired Qualifications
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy preferred
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
