Job Summary
Conduct primary patient care for assigned infusion therapy patients in home and alternate site settings, including assessments, care planning, and education. Initiate and maintain communications with the care team, evaluate the home environment for safety, and develop plans of care in conjunction with pharmacists and prescribers. Document all encounters and coordinate patient care via approved platforms while participating in the on-call rotation. Manage schedules through the company platform and ensure timely submission of treatment plans and required clinical documents. Requires an RN license in good standing in Massachusetts, minimum three years of infusion nursing experience, and ability to drive up to 45 miles. Schedule includes variable hours Monday through Friday, with per diem pay and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm- variable schedule to include early mornings, afternoons, evenings as needed- Per Diem 20 hours per week
- Ability to drive your own properly registered/insured vehicle up to 45 miles one direction to see patients as needed
- Knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications
- Must have an RN license in good standing in the state of MA
- Must live within 20 minutes of the Lexington, MA area
- Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN)
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy - Must have home infusion nursing experience
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
- Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution to issues to minimize impact on operations
- Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency
Desired Qualifications
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
