Job Summary
Provide direct care for assigned infusion patients including assessments, care planning, evaluation, and education in home or alternate site settings. Initiate and maintain communications with the care team, evaluate the home environment for safety, and develop plans of care with team members. Manage schedules via company platforms, coordinate patient care, and document all encounters, communications, and activities per policy. Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure continuous support. Maintain knowledge of IV access devices and infusion medications, ensuring timely submission of treatment plans and required documents. Requires Texas RN license, 30-32 hours weekly with one Saturday monthly, and on-call availability. Minimum 3 years infusion experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
- RN degree, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
- Participation in an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included, providing as-needed support outside of regular business hours to address urgent issues and ensure continuous operations
- Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations
- Availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the emergency
- Valid state issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN)
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care
