Job Summary
Infusion Nurse provides primary patient care for assigned patients in home or alternate site settings, including assessments, care planning, and education for infusion therapy. Responsibilities include coordinating with care team, educating patients/care partners on safe home infusion administration, evaluating the home environment for safety, developing and evaluating the plan of care, managing schedules, participating in nurse on-call rotations, documenting encounters per policy, maintaining knowledge of infusion therapies and regulatory requirements, and ensuring timely submission of plans of treatment and related documents. Requires RN licensure in Georgia; BSN preferred; on-call rotation; minimum 3 years nursing experience with infusion therapy background preferred; travel to patient homes up to 1.5–2 hours; professional communications with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN in Georgia
- BSN preferred
- Current RN license in good standing
- Advanced certification in specialty areas (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- Participation in on-call rotation (nights and weekends)
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience; infusion therapy preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
