Infusion Nurse

Job Summary
Infusion Nurse provides primary patient care for infusion therapy in the home or alternate sites, including assessments, care planning, evaluation, and education for patients and care partners. Responsibilities include initiating and maintaining communications with the care team, educating patients on safely administering home infusion therapy, evaluating the home environment for safety, developing and evaluating plans of care, coordinating patient care via approved platforms, managing scheduling, and participating in an on-call rotation to ensure continuous nursing support. Must be licensed as an RN in Georgia, with BSN preferred, and possess or pursue advanced infusion certifications as available. Requires willingness to travel for home visits and to work extended or non-standard hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Georgia
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
- Current RN license in good standing
- Advanced certification in specialty areas (CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with infusion therapy preferred
- Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred
- Participation in on-call rotation (nights and weekends)
- Must be able to drive up to 2 hours occasionally
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
