Job Summary

Provide quality in-home care and infusions as defined by the Nurse Practice Act, administering specialty pharmacy therapies and injectables to patients with rare, chronic, and acute diseases. Proficiently manage SPC/PIV/Midlines, CVADs, SCIG, phlebotomy, and lab processing while adhering to strict infection control measures. Coordinate nursing care planning with the Director of Nursing, update patient progress notes, and administer CPR and emergency procedures as necessary. Requires current RN licensure, CPR certification, and willingness to travel within the assigned region and work alternate shifts or on-call rotations.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse through the State Board of Nursing
  • Proof of current PPD
  • Current CPR– hands-on class
  • Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic region
  • Flexibility to work alternate shifts on short notice
  • Ability to be on call for field visits as determined by business needs
  • Consent to a background check
  • Consent to a drug screen

Desired Qualifications

  • One year of experience in infusion nursing
  • Home health experience
  • Minimum of two years medical, surgical, or critical care/ER experience
  • Minimum of one year of recent infusion experience
  • Ability to perform assessments
  • Ability to perform wound care
  • Ability to perform medication management
  • Ability to perform infusions
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Decisive judgment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
