Job Summary
Administer on-site and virtual infusions and injections with precision while conducting patient assessments, documenting SOAP notes, and monitoring treatment responses. Educate patients and families on treatment expectations and disease management, then collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline care coordination and optimize clinical workflows. Maintain accurate Electronic Health Record documentation while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and prior authorization standards. Work flexible Monday through Friday shifts with rotating Saturdays across multiple facilities in the San Antonio market.
Required Qualifications
- Active and Unrestricted Licenses – Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state)
- Board Certification – AANP or ANCC certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to Treat a Diverse Patient Population – Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics
- Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills – Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols
- Proficiency in Clinical Documentation – Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance
- Flexibility and Adaptability – Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed
Desired Qualifications
- PALS certification preferred
- Clinical Experience – Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred
