Infusion Nurse

Infusion Nurse needed for New England Life Care's Scarborough, ME branch to provide direct patient care for home infusion therapy patients under physician orders. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessments, patient and caregiver education on infusion therapy, aseptic administration and monitoring of all therapy types, documenting outcomes and communications, managing infusion access devices, equipment troubleshooting, participating in case conferences, and on-call rotation. Requires RN license in good standing in the providing state(s), current BLS certification, valid driver’s license, and strong communication and organizational skills. Education requirement: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Nursing or diploma with equivalent experience; two years of acute care experience; home health/infusion therapy experience preferred. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and HIPAA is preferred. Office located in Scarborough, ME with service area extending to parts of NH and VT; candidates should reside in ME or VT. EOE
