Job Summary
Infusion Nurse delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care through IV and injectable specialty medications in an ambulatory clinic setting. Conduct pre-treatment assessments, initiate and manage peripheral IV access, prepare and administer IV/injectable therapies, monitor during and after infusions, manage adverse events, and educate patients/caregivers on treatment plans and self-administration. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and clinic staff, maintain infection prevention and safety standards, document care in electronic records, and participate in onboarding/training of new clinic staff. Travel to multiple clinic locations within the region may be required. Must hold RN licensure with BC College of Nurses & Midwives, with degree or equivalent education and a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience; infusion certification and CPR required.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration and good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
- Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in infusion, ambulatory care, or specialty clinical settings
- Infusion certification or demonstrated hands-on IV infusion experience
- Current CPR certification
