Job Summary
Infusion Clinic Nurse role requiring a Registered Nurse with 3+ years acute care experience, based in Woodstock, ON and London, ON. Lead and perform specialized IV and injection therapies, review physician orders, monitor patient status, and document changes in health status following Coverdale Infusion Clinics standards. Provide direction and support to Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses, fostering collaboration and ongoing education. Responsibilities emphasize patient assessments, data collection, analytical observation, and applying innovative treatment approaches within a patient-centered care model. Strong IV skills and experience with CVADs are essential; role includes working days and evenings in a full-time 32-hour weekly schedule at two Ontario locations.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current licensure in good standing with provincial licensing body
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of recent acute care experience (hospital setting preferred)
- Experience in ICU and/or ER asset
- Training and experience in administration of medications via all routes
- Excellent intravenous skills
- Experience with CVADs
- Ability to review physician orders and assess patients; strong analytical and observational skills
- Collaborative leadership abilities; ability to provide direction to Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
