Job Summary
Prepare and administer specialized IV and injection therapies, ensuring every interaction reflects high standards of patient care. Review physician orders, perform thorough patient assessments, and monitor client conditions using analytical skills to observe and document changes in health status. Provide direction, support, and delegation to Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses while fostering a collaborative environment through effective communication and shared patient care goals. Work a casual, permanent one-shift-per-week schedule in Winkler, MB, with limited day and evening shifts and holiday closures.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse
- At least 3 years of recent acute care experience
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current registration in good standing with the provincial licensing body
- Training and experience in the preparation and administration of medications via all routes
- Excellent intravenous skills
- Training and experience with CVADs
- Background in biologics/infusions
- French language proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in ICU and/or ER
