Job Summary
Infusion Clinic Nurse (Part Time) provides nursing care in the Infusion Clinic, including scheduling, administration of treatments, patient teaching, documentation, and coordination with physicians and departments; expects adherence to Infusion Clinic policies, ongoing education, patient safety, and participation in quality improvement activities. Demonstrates clinical proficiency, supports scheduling per physician orders, ensures lab work per orders, administers chemotherapy as ordered, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of safety and disaster procedures. Requires RN licensure in Maine, BCLS, ACLS within one year, and IV therapy skills; Oncology/Infusion Nursing experience preferred. Sign-on bonuses offered: $1500 after 90 days and $1500 after one year.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Maine
- BCLS required
- ACLS certification completed within one year
- Experience in Oncology or Infusion Nursing preferred
- Skilled in IV Therapy
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility in schedule
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent assessment and documentation skills
