Job Summary
Prepare and administer specialized IV and injection therapies, perform thorough patient assessments, and monitor client conditions according to Coverdale Infusion Clinics standards. Review physician's orders, utilize analytical skills to observe and document changes in health status, and provide direction to Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses while fostering collaborative care goals. This part-time, permanent role in Cornwall, ON requires at least three years of acute care experience, strong intravenous skills, and current provincial registration. Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse
- At least 3 years of recent acute care experience
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current registration in good standing with the provincial licensing body
- Training and experience in the preparation and administration of medications via all routes
- Excellent intravenous skills
- Training and experience with CVADs
- Background in biologics/infusions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in ICU and/or ER
