Job Summary
Perform patient check-ins, obtain vital signs, and document data accurately in the medical record. Assist practitioners with peripheral IV placement, equipment setup, and aseptic technique for PIV maintenance. Support infusion center flow by managing patient appointments and provide education on treatment regimens and side effects. Administer subcutaneous injections and reconstitute medications as delegated by the Supervising Provider. Monitor patients during treatment, coordinate emergency responses to adverse reactions, and maintain BLS certification. Clean and sanitize rooms and equipment between patients. Full-time float in Tampa Bay with weekend and night availability.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Registered Nurse license
- Maintains BLS certification
- Maintains compliance with continuing and mandatory education
- Ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred
