Job Summary
Senior Telco Infrastructure Architect in Red Hat Telco Services Consulting, Sao Paulo, Brazil. You will collaborate with project and customer teams to meet timelines, contribute to project documentation and QA processes, mentor customers, and drive adoption of automation techniques and DevOps practices to improve cloud lifecycle, uptime, and time-to-market. You’ll translate client requirements into technology designs, lead architecture design sessions, and advocate for cloud-native solutions with multiple integration points, automation, and orchestration. You will work across product, engineering, support, services, and sales to deliver innovative and reliable solutions, leveraging extensive experience with Linux, OpenShift/Kubernetes, NFV, SDN/storage, virtualization, and DevOps tooling to meet customer goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a related technology position (e.g., sales, consulting, operations, development)
- 4+ years of experience with Public Cloud and Linux technologies
- 4+ years of experience with telecommunications technologies and networking infrastructure
- 2+ years of experience with automation frameworks and tools like Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Ansible
- 2+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, ACM, ACS, Quay, Ceph, or Kubernetes
- Experience with storage systems (FiberChannel, iSCSI, NFS, etc.) or Software Defined Storage
- Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and design
- Experience with virtualization platforms (KVM, QEMU, OpenStack, OpenShift Virtualization, VMware)
- Experience with AppDev automation and pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD)
- Networking experience (VLANs, routing, 4/5G, IPAM, Load Balancers)
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
- English proficiency for verbal and written communication
