Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Telco Architect in Buenos Aires, Argentina region who leads architecture design activities and coordinates cross-functional teams to translate client requirements into technology designs. Responsibilities include collaborating with project and customer teams to meet timelines, contributing to project documentation and QA/ticket/bug management, mentoring customers, guiding adoption of automation and DevOps practices to improve cloud life cycle, uptime, and time-to-market, and ensuring architectures align with long-term business goals. Requires 5+ years in related technology roles, extensive experience with public cloud, Linux and telecommunications technologies, automation and OpenShift/Kubernetes foundational skills, NFV and SDN/storage knowledge, and proficiency with virtualization and DevOps tooling.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a related technology position (e.g., sales, consulting, operations, development)
- 4+ years of experience with Public Cloud and Linux technologies
- 4+ years of experience with telecommunications technologies and networking infrastructure
- 2+ years of experience with automation frameworks and tools (Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform)
- 2+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, ACM, ACS, Quay, Ceph, or Kubernetes
- Thorough knowledge of NFV, network acceleration (DPDK, SR-IOV), ZTP, cloud SDN or storage disciplines, and DevOps models and technologies
- Experience with storage systems (FiberChannel, FCOE, iSCSI, NFS) or similar SDST
- Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and design
- Virtualization platforms (KVM, QEMU, OpenStack, OpenShift Virtualization, VMware)
- Experience with AppDev automation and pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD)
- Networking technologies knowledge (VLANs, routing, 4/5G, IPAM, Load Balancers)
- Experience with Infoblox TCPWave, F5, etc.
- Experience with OpenStack, Red Hat Virtualization, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure is a plus
- English proficiency for verbal and written communication
- Ability to design and deliver implementations using various public and private cloud providers
- Interest/knowledge in AI/ML technologies
