Infrastructure Support Engineer

Job Summary
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to 450+ users across 9 sites; manage IT onboarding and offboarding; provision, maintain, and refresh laptops, iPhones, and iPads; support and maintain Production and Test servers; assist in cybersecurity alert resolution; manage printers and AV equipment; support networking (switches, routers, VPNs, wireless, cabling); configure and support Amazon Connect contact center agents; administer cloud services and identity platforms (Office 365, Entra ID/Azure AD); document and standardise technical support procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in IT infrastructure support
- Tertiary qualification in IT (such as Computer Science, Information Technology)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years IT infrastructure support experience
- Tertiary qualification in IT (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
- Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, and Group Policy
- Experience with Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019/2022
- Experience with Exchange Online administration
- Familiarity with endpoint management and MDM tools (e.g., Telstra MDM)
- Exposure to Amazon Connect and Salesforce Service Cloud Voice
- Knowledge of macOS and Linux
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, ping, traceroute)
- Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
- End-user support across multiple sites
- Onboarding/offboarding IT processes
- Device provisioning and asset management (laptops, iPhones, iPads)
- Cybersecurity alert resolution
- Server administration (Production and Test)
