Job Summary

Lead municipal infrastructure planning, drainage, and servicing studies that support sustainable community growth. Deliver hydraulic and hydrologic modelling assignments using tools like InfoWorks ICM and SewerGEMS to inform water, wastewater, and stormwater system decisions. Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources while providing technical leadership and senior review for planning and modelling initiatives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions and build trusted client relationships as a key advisor on complex municipal challenges. Mentor developing professionals and contribute to proposal development to support business growth. This role prepares candidates for a future Team Lead position within the Water & Wastewater Conveyance team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, infrastructure planning, or water resources engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia, or eligible for registration and actively working toward designation
  • Strong experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modelling tools such as InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM, SewerGEMS/CAD, WaterGEMS/CAD, or InfoWater Pro, with advanced proficiency in at least one platform
  • Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent assignments while effectively managing budgets, schedules, and project risks
  • Demonstrated experience preparing technical reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables that translate complex analysis into practical recommendations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working across multidisciplinary engineering environments
