Job Summary
Infrastructure Operations Engineer responsible for optimizing operational support systems and tools to improve network performance and provisioning. Core duties include ensuring stable ISP network services across Access/Distribution/Core, rapid incident response with a sense of urgency, network and server hardware troubleshooting, deployment and maintenance of monitoring, analysis, and reporting tools, participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation, day-to-day network performance monitoring, and helping build processes around network operations. The role also involves training other engineers and technicians in technical matters and evaluating network changes to prevent problems, with related duties as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- in depth experience in Network Operations, OSS processes and applications, Server OS (Windows/Unix), Network Monitoring applications, Carrier and/or enterprise level networks.
