Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Job Summary
Provide day-to-day operational support for Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments hosting production trading applications. Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning. Maintain automation tooling with Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitOps workflows to reduce manual effort. Monitor platform health, respond to incidents, and assist with root cause analysis for compute, networking, and storage issues across AWS, Azure, and Dell PowerEdge hardware. Support authentication services, DNS, and time synchronization protocols while executing changes within maintenance windows. Collaborate with developers and traders to ensure stable, secure, and resilient financial infrastructure aligned with industry compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in Linux systems administration, infrastructure operations, platform support, or a similar technical operations role
- 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes in production or non-production environments
- Experience supporting Linux systems in an enterprise environment, including patching, troubleshooting, upgrades, and basic performance tuning
- Familiarity with incident response, operational support, and service restoration in production environments
- Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure infrastructure services
- Understanding of authentication services, DNS, and time synchronization concepts in distributed environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical teams
