Job Summary
Manage infrastructure projects including installations and upgrades while monitoring critical systems for power, cooling, and network connectivity. Respond to critical incidents during out-of-business hours, handle escalated customer support issues, and investigate major incidents to identify root causes. Design automation scripts to optimize operational processes and collaborate on capacity planning initiatives. Travel to other data centres to assist colleagues and support business needs across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in data centre environments
- Expertise in server administration, virtualization, and networking protocols
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Python
- Hands-on server experience within a tech organisation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Advanced technical certifications
- Ability to make decisions on complex topics in ambiguous, results-driven environments
- Confidence influencing without authority and building relationships with senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, diligent, and able to move work forward independently
- Strong customer service ethic
