Job Summary
Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automations using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Azure AI services to address operational use cases like incident auto-triage, self-service provisioning, and proactive alerting. Identify high-value automation opportunities across I&O pillars by partnering with L2 and L3 leaders to map workflows and maintain a ranked backlog. Develop self-healing capabilities that detect and remediate infrastructure issues before impacting end users, while creating reusable AI patterns and prompt libraries to accelerate adoption at scale. Measure automation impact by tracking hours saved, tickets deflected, and mean-time-to-resolve improvements, presenting outcomes to leadership through regular business reviews. Partner with Security, Risk & Compliance teams to ensure all automations adhere to enterprise AI governance, data boundaries, GxP considerations, and the EU AI Act. This role serves as the embedded AI capability for Infrastructure & Operations, driving the shift from manual operations to intelligent automation within the life sciences sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or systems engineering
- demonstrated hands-on delivery of automation solutions in an enterprise environment (cloud, network, endpoint, or service management)
- 2+ years of practical experience building AI/ML-powered automations or intelligent agents
- Experience using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, or equivalent agentic AI frameworks
- A strong collaborator with the ability to engage engineering and operations stakeholders
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot ecosystem, Power Platform and/or Azure AI services
- Experience with supported programming languages
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in life sciences, manufacturing, or regulated industries (GxP, SOX)
- Familiarity with AIOps, observability platforms (Datadog, Azure Monitor, Splunk), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep)
- Microsoft certifications in AI or Power Platform (AI-102, PL-200, PL-600)
- Experience with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for deploying and versioning AI agents
- Track record of quantifying automation ROI and presenting to senior leadership
