Job Summary
Hands-on Infrastructure Implementation Engineer to deploy enterprise infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, and networking; perform rack-and-stack installations, cabling, system integration, and hardware deployment; troubleshoot Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking issues (VLANs, DNS, DHCP, connectivity); collaborate directly with customer IT teams to ensure successful project execution and knowledge transfer; document implementation activities and deployment outcomes; work independently while managing deployment projects across customer environments; travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 60% travel).
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure deployment/implementation/datacenter environments
- Hands-on experience installing, integrating, and supporting enterprise infrastructure solutions
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deployment priorities
- Experience with Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking troubleshooting (switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, connectivity)
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms and SAN technologies
- Experience with multi-vendor networking environments (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Aruba, Dell)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V) and CLI-based management
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% to customer sites
