INFRASTRUCTURE FLOOR TECHNICIAN

Job Summary
Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff hard-surface floors and stairwells using heavy equipment; vacuum, spot clean, and extract carpets while maintaining baseboards and cove molding. Empty trash, linen, and garbage containers from restrooms, offices, and break rooms; wash windows, clean entrance glass doors, and manage snow and ice removal. Operate floor-cleaning equipment, golf carts, and other vehicles; assist in inventorying floor care products and filling purchase requests. Comply with safety policies, report accidents, and participate in safety meetings. Work the 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) Monday through Friday for GLOCK, Inc.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 - 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Janitorial methods and procedures
- Knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment utilized in Janitorial activities
- Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License
- Ability to work various shifts
- Ability to operate floor-cleaning equipment
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Driving a variety of company vehicles such as, but not limited to, trucks, golf carts, SUV's
