Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Engineering Advisor responsible for leading troubleshooting across enterprise Splunk/Cribl deployments, driving lifecycle activities from requirements gathering to design, testing, implementation, operations, and documentation. Lead projects for continuous improvement, mentor staff and customers, and collaborate with Agile PM and Product Management on large initiatives. Hybrid work arrangement with a focus on scalable, secure, and efficient logging/telemetry infrastructure leveraging IaC and AWS services.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years of experience in any call center production support role in the pharmacy benefit management domain
- Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience
- Experience with Splunk environments including Splunk Cloud and Enterprise deployment, configuration, and administration
- Splunk architecture including indexing, search head clustering, and data onboarding
- SPL (Search Processing Language)
- HTTP Event Collector (HEC)
- Load-balancing data ingestion using TCP/UDP protocols
- Configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cribl Stream and Cribl Edge
- Cribl log management and data routing
- Cribl Packs for data parsing and transformation
- Infra as Code automation with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible
- AWS security best practices including IAM and encryption
- Linux OS including RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Debian
- Scripting with Bash and Python
- Puppet and Chef
- CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
- AWS services (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, Control Tower)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Security tooling (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC)
- Experience governing large-scale logging environments and telemetry
- Ability to mentor and coach staff and customers
