Job Summary
Infrastructure Engineering Manager, Associate/VP role based in Shanghai, responsible for managing and supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms (server, storage, and VDI) with emphasis on stability, resiliency, and operational excellence. Oversees day-to-day health, maintenance, patching, upgrade planning, lifecycle and capacity management; designs and implements infrastructure solutions aligned with business, technology, security, and control requirements. Partners with application owners, information security, end user services, project teams, and vendors to deliver services and resolve issues; provides secondary coverage for network operations (LAN/WAN, data center connectivity, switching, routing, firewall operations). Drives operational discipline across incident, problem, change, release, configuration, and recovery processes; maintains standards, procedures, runbooks, and audit readiness. Supports production stability initiatives, resiliency enhancements, platform optimization, and disaster recovery preparedness; monitors service health and performance metrics, identifies risks, and implements improvements. Participates in technology refresh, migration, data center activities, and platform modernization; engages with regional/global teams to align with enterprise standards and strategy. Supports internal audit, regulatory reviews, risk and control assessments, and vendor governance as required; VP-level candidates should demonstrate leadership in stakeholder management and cross-functional delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
- Solid experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering or production support in high-availability environments
- Strong knowledge of server, storage, virtualization, and VDI platforms in enterprise environments
- Experience with Windows and Linux system administration, patching, hardening, and support practices
- Familiarity with enterprise storage operations, backup and recovery concepts, resiliency/disaster recovery requirements
- Working knowledge of core networking concepts including switching, routing, firewall, VPN, and data center environments
- Experience with incident, problem, change, and configuration management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and support production issues within controlled change windows
