Job Summary
Infrastructure Engineer with French to join Sopra Steria Polska in Katowice. Responsible for managing and maintaining ITaaS environments, network traffic flows, DNS records, VIP management, and certificate lifecycle, ensuring security, performance, and availability. Requires strong OS knowledge (Windows and Linux), IT infrastructure concepts, and fluent French (min. B2) for daily client communication. Role involves supporting legacy environments, managing ITaaS access rights, and occasional travel (3 days/month) to Katowice. Hybrid work model with commuting to the Katowice office.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial experience in a similar position
- Very good knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux distributions: RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, SLES)
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and system administration concepts
- Very good command of French (min. B2) – daily communication with the client
- Experience with network-related services (e.g., DNS, traffic flows, load balancing)
- Knowledge of access management and security fundamentals (authentication, authorization, certificates)
- Ability to work with both modern (ITaaS) and legacy environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Proactive and detail-oriented
- Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively
- Being open to occasional business trips abroad and regular visits in our office in Katowice (3 days per month)
