Infrastructure Engineer

Design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Own day-to-day infrastructure work independently while contributing to broader strategy with senior engineers. Build and maintain observability systems to collect, analyze, and visualize data from software applications and infrastructure, providing insight into system health and performance. Responsibilities include designing infrastructure initiatives with scalable data collection pipelines and dashboards, monitoring and performance optimization, incident response and root-cause analysis, configuring and maintaining observability tooling (Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Jaeger, VictoriaMetrics), alerting, data analysis to identify bottlenecks, automation for monitoring tasks, cross-functional collaboration, capacity planning, and ensuring security/compliance. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years of systems administration/engineering, strong Windows/Linux knowledge, networking (VLANs, routing, ACLs, multi-vendor switches/firewalls), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), experience with IPSec VPN, BGP, and observability tools, and strong communication skills.
