Job Summary
Provide 24/7 support for production systems to ensure high availability and performance. Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using Python, Bash, and Ansible. Manage and optimize Linux and Windows operating systems, OpenStack, VMware, and storage systems including Nimble, Pure, and NetApp. Develop automation scripts and tools while implementing API integrations to enhance system interoperability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and support multiple projects simultaneously. Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as part of the 24/7 support rotation. Maintain critical infrastructure while driving continuous improvement in systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering role, preferably in a 24/7 production environment
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Ansible scripting
- Experience with API integration and development
- Hands-on experience with OpenStack and VMware virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with storage systems, particularly Nimble, Pure, and NetApp
- Experience in data center operations and management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as part of the 24/7 support rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware, Red Hat)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
