Job Summary
Infrastructure Engineer responsible for implementing and optimizing network infrastructure for proprietary low latency trading applications across data centers worldwide. Tasks include identifying and troubleshooting technical challenges, adopting a data-driven automated approach to diagnose complex network issues, utilizing monitoring tools to locate and resolve network-related problems, communicating impact to traders and developers, supporting a hybrid wireless and wired high-performance network environment, applying DevOps practices to enhance efficiency in network management and maintenance of trading applications, and contributing to documentation to improve team efficiency. Requires collaboration with global teams, resilience under tight deadlines, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, international setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred
- At least 5+ years of hands-on networking experience
- CCNP certification or equivalent
- Advance knowledge and troubleshooting of IP networking and TCP/IP
- Advance knowledge of Switching, Routing (BGP) and Multicast (IGMP, PIM)
- Knowledge of Linux Administration and scripting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of global team in a fast-paced environment
